Christmas tree 2017

Today was the big day decorating our tree! We were a little later this year, as we were waiting on the tree we ordered to arrive. It finally did today, and it is the world's most complicated tree to put together! But it was definitely a good choice though because it's beautiful and we're so happy with it!

Then it started to snow and before it melted I got a lovely photo of the snow outside behind the tree.

Derek put our lights outside then. Gosh it's so good to be back home in our own house for Christmas.

And of course naughty Ben elf is back again for the holiday season!

What a really lovely day decorating with the kids. We've got decorations up all over but I never got to take any other photos, I feel so grateful and blessed today!

Dylan's 13th birthday trip

To celebrate Dylan's 13th birthday we took him to UK to see his favourite team Southampton. Derek and our friend  took him, while myself and Lauren visited with Emma and the kiddies. 

Dylan absolutely loved the match and seeing his team! Since it was a big big surprise for him to go see them.

We all had a brilliant weekend celebrating our teenager!

Weekend in Mullingar

Over midterm break we went to Mullingar for a family break!  We stayed in the Mulingar Park Hotel, we had a lovely meal and some quality time together and it was really nice....

On our way home we stopped to visit the 'Rock of Cashel' I've biatrd lots before but the more have never been.

We had a over break away! 

Halloween night 2017

Halloween was great fun thid year! Before trick or treating Lauren was imvoyrd to a party st out neighbours, she had s grest time! And Dylan actually had grest fun too with his friend!

Dylan's new room

While we were away in Mulingar we had a carpenter ine and make a bed for Dylan. His room is quite small and we wanted to fsxiktsre the space efficiently in his room! He was delighted with the result!

It's much more grown up now that he is almost 13!

Our Trip To Wicked Woods

Yesterday we went to the 'Wicked Woods it's a 'haunted' walk. It is organised by Spraoi, a voluntary organisation that runs amazing events in Waterford throughout the year!

We went to the dusk show as we didn't want it to be too scary for the kids. It was brilliant! Dylan loved it, but Lauren was pretty scared, but was ok once she realised it was just for fun! 

It was really good fun and spooky! The kids are already looking forward to going back again next year!
