Portugal 2018 Day 13

And that brings us to the end of our two weeks in Portugal, we spend tomorrow travelling home. We have had a really wonderful time!

So I definitely think we will visit Portugal again some time in the future!

Portugal 2018 - Day 11 & 12

So we visited Zoo Marine today, it was so much fun. We all had a really fabulous day!

We were so exhausted when we got home! But what a day! Tomorrow we are just relaxing by the pool!

  

Portugal 2018 Day 8 & 9

The last two days have been pretty chilled out! Monday was quite dull in the morning, and since we had the rental car we decided to have a drive out to Benagil beach. The weather was really fabulous there, we had some ice cream and we swam and made sandcastles.

The beach is beautiful. On Tuesday we went to Slide 'n Splash and we met our friends. We don't have any photos as we left our valuables at home! It was a brilliant day, I would say the kids went on everything twice.  We came home and headed out for dinner.  Some lovely days!

Portugal 2018 - Day 7

Today during our beach day Derek took the kids out to the inflatable assault course. It was the first tine Lauren was big enough to swim out to it. I was very nervous, but they both swam out fine in their life jackets!

They had a lovely time! I relaxed on the beach reading my kindle.... it was bliss!

Portugal 2018 - Day 5 & 6

Friday we spent some time on the beach. The kids were burying each other, it was really hot so we stayed in the shade. We noticed an inflatable assault course we decided we would let them do on Sunday.

We had dinner at a restaurant on the beach, then we went walking and exploring.

On Saturday the kids had a swim and we headed off to the Algarve shopping mall to see what it was like, we did a little shopping and headed back to Albufeira for dinner.

Portugal 29018 Day 4

Today we went on an all day boat trip on "The Ophelia" we had a really amazing day exploring the Benagil caves and we spent a few hours on Praia da Malhada do Baraço, we had a bbq and relaxed on the beach.

Our boat went in and out of these amazing caves.

Then we were taken on smaller speedboats into the caves to explore them better

Then we were back on the boat and another 45 minutes until we reached the private beach, where we were taken in by boat again. Here was where the bbq was!

We were also given the opportunity to swim in from the boat to the shore, Lauren was too little  but Dylan decided he wanted to overcome his fears of swimming in the sea and he just dived in and swam to the beach!! I was so proud of him!
