Our Princess turns 7

Today our little princess turns 7! I can't quite believe how grown up that sounds.

This year Lauren is having her party at the trampoline place Jump Zone, her party is all set for tomorrow, and she is so excited. She loved her birthday presents this morning, it's so lovely to watch her get all excited for her presents!

And as per tradition in our house, on your birthday you have to have a cake, even if your party is the next day and you will get more cake!

Lauren's bestie came for cake too of course!

Happy 7th birthday to our precious little girl, we love you so very very much. You are our special little princess who completes our little family and we love to watch you grow,  you are the sweerest gift and we adore you, and hope you enjoy every minute of your birthday, and your party tomorrow!

Our Trip to Belafast Day 2

On our second day in Belfast we took the kids to the Titanic Museum in Belfast city, it is where the Titanic was built. There is a huge museum and it is phenomenal! The kids absolutely loved it!

As part of the tour, you could see the last remaining ship of the line, the Nomadic!

And that brings us to the end of our trip to Belfast, what an amazing weekend, I wish we could have stayed longer! we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I hope we can go back and visit again soon!

Our Trip to Belfast Day 1

This weekend we took the kids to Belfast to explore! we had an absolutely brilliant time! We were all only over the flu so we were tired out by the end of the weekend, but it was so much fun.

On the first day we visited Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge and walk. It is basically a famous bridge which crosses between two cliffs. It was an old fisherman's port, and the constructed the bridge there. Dylan and Lauren have wanted to visit here for ages, I didn't so much want to cross the bridge! But I did it anyway!

The beautiful views of Northern Ireland

Then it was time for the rope bridge! eek!

Derek was first

Lauren was so great!! I really didn't think she would want to go on the bridge, but there was no problem at all with her!

Dylan loved it and wasn't even a bit phased!

I was absolutely terrified! does it show?

But I did it in the end!

Of course Daddy caught us on camera!

We did it!!

Then when we were finished out cliff walk, we drove out to the Giant's causeway. The weather was awful, it was so cold and the rain was sweeping down. The kids really loved it though and didn't care if it was raining!

Then it was off to check into our hotel and explore Belfast city, we were so exhausted, but it was a fabulous day. It was so beautiful and rugged!
