Sophie's first 6 months

Sophie has been enjoying all sorts of firsts here with us, the kids have been so good and having a great time being dog owners! I'm proud of how well they are doing with Sophie! She has tripled in size since she arrived here in June, and we are besotted with her! The cats are slowly getting used to her, and I think she has settled in here with us really well!

So there it is the first six moths! It's been amazing and we have had so much fun and adventures with out little bundle of fur! Hope you're enjoying the Doyle family life Sophie!

If you go down to the woods today......

Today was such a beautiful autumn day that we decided to take Sophie for her first trip to the woods, we went to our favourite woods in Knocksink in Enniskerry. The kids really love to explore the woods there, and they've always dreamt of bringing their own dog there to explore, Dylan in particular has always said this, that is why it was so special to see him having such a great time with Sophie, Lauren had an amazing time too!

Sophie had a great time jumping into the water and really enjoyed her first visit to the woods, we will share all the other first things that the kids get to do with Sophie over the next few weeks! What a lovely relaxing Sunday!

Our trip to Wexford

This week the kids and I went with a friend and her daughter to Screen, Co.Wexford, we stayed in a friend's house. It was spectacular! we spent three nights there and it was absolutely amazing, it was so hot and we went to the beach every day.

The last night Derek joined us and we went to the funfair and we brought Sophie along with us

We had the most amazing time together with great friends in Wexford, a great way to spend the last of our summer holidays! It was definitely well needed rest and relaxation!
