Happy Birthday to Derek

Today we celebrated Derek's 35th birthday! We did spoil him A LOT! But it was well deserved! He had a great day and we had a great day spoiling him. At dinner we all said three things that we love about our Daddy, that was the sweetest thing! Dylan even wanted to get Derek a basketball for his present as he had mentioned he had been good at basketball at school and they could play together, it was the sweetest thing!

Happy birthday to the best husband and father we could ask or wish for, we hope you had a fabulous day!

Birthday kisses for Daddy! ( apparently Dylan is 'too old to give Daddy kisses' lol)

Our beautiful children all ready to celebrate!

Spring has Sprung!

Last week was the first day we were able to get out and bounce on our trampoline! The kids had to do ten minutes of activity every day as part of the P.E programme in school, so because it was so lovely out they chose bouncing!

They are so excited for the weather to improve all the way so that they can get back out and bounce their cares away lol! This is such a great exercise but I have to make sure they are on the trampoline separately to avoid injury!

Looks like spring has sprung!

Happy Monday everyone!

Our man of the match

Dylan has been playing GAA now for the last few years, and today we had the best news and we are so proud of him! Dylan played a match on Sunday and he was named ' man of the match,' so basically he was voted by all of the coaches as the best player during the game!

Here's thr guys relaxing before the game!

He had so much fun, and played his heart out, we are so so proud of him and the team! He really plays so hard, and gives every game his all. We are so proud of his dedication and the huge effort he puts in to each game, he is so passionate and energetic and a huge addition to his team.

Well Done Dylan!

Family Day Fun

Today we had a mother/daughter day, and a father/son day!

Derek took Dylan to see the Dublin match, afterwards there was a display to mark and celebrate the 100 years of GAA and the 1916 rising. They had a brilliant time and they said that the show afterwards was spectacular! We didn't see them until late this evening!

The boys at the match, these are the only photos they sent me, I guess they were having too much fun!

For our mother/daughter time I took Lauren to see ' The JungleBook,' and she absolutely loved it! I thought it was very good too. Afterwards we went shopping for new clothes for our holidays, she chose some beachwear and some adorable sandals, she had a brilliant time picking everything out and visiting all the different shops, she also got a little pair of sunglasses, and she's so cute!

Before we left Lauren had an extra ballet class as she's preparing for her ballet exams, and after that we were off!

Lauren and mummy before the show

We had to have an ice cream break, all this shopping is hungry work!

Waiting for the train to go home

When we got home we did our nails, Lauren chose love hearts and she chose red for me!

Then of course we had to try on all our new clothes and have a fashion show!

We all had a fantastic day spending quality time with our kiddies on their own, which is so important  to make them feel special and spoiled every now and again, my mum used to do this with me and I still remember it being some of the best days ever!

We are getting pretty excited for our holidays now! Only 6 weeks and we will be sitting in the beautiful Costa Del Sol! Let the countdown begin!
