Our Trip To Wicked Woods

Yesterday we went to the 'Wicked Woods it's a 'haunted' walk. It is organised by Spraoi, a voluntary organisation that runs amazing events in Waterford throughout the year!

We went to the dusk show as we didn't want it to be too scary for the kids. It was brilliant! Dylan loved it, but Lauren was pretty scared, but was ok once she realised it was just for fun! 

It was really good fun and spooky! The kids are already looking forward to going back again next year!

Happy almost Halloween! 

Dress up day at school

Lauren was the only one one in the house having a Haloween party at school, Dylan is in secondary school now... so no more dress up, I was a bit sad to only have to do dress up for one. 

Lauren dressed up as a broken porcelain doll. We were able to use mostly things we had already, I bought a wig which we tied into pigtails posits, and I bought face paint. The rest we has in the wardrobe, I think we were very creative!

She had a great day at school at the party, she even made some lovely chocolate apples. She's really looking forward to going trick-or-treating on Halloween night and wearing her costume again!

Grandad's 70th Birthday

This weekend we celebrated Derek's dad's 70th birthday. We went to Dublin for the evening and stayed overnight. We went to dinner to a lovely restaurant, we really enjoyed the meal, abd we really enjoyed celebrating with him!

Captain Dylan

This weekend Dylan was the captain of his team! He played s grest match and really enjoyed himself. The match ended in a draw, but he was happy as he scored a goal and set up the other goal. We were proud or him!

Halloween Decor 2017

We are a little early with our Halloween Decor this year! But Lauren was so excited to get everything out! It was just the two of us decorating this year (teenagers are great!)

Lauren and mom had plenty of fun doing the decorations though, we went for a haunted house look!

We have some pumpkins ready to be carved and put on the doorstep on Halloween night, so we're looking forward to doing that soonI!

So Halloween 2017 is underway! Yay!

Big gig!

I was so happy to be asked to run a wellness day for a huge company in Dublin! My business is doing well, I'm so happy and grateful! I asked my sister-in-law to work the event with me as she's also a therapist. I stayed over in her house the night before!
