Dylan's 12th birthday

Today my beautiful son turns twelve years old, he has entered his last year before turning into a teenager. This last year he has grown and changed so much, he has blossomed into a mature, kind, considerate and hardworking individual, he e is my friend and son, and I love him so much it hurts!

As he grows up, I feel that I want to mark his milestones here in the blog, but ultimately all of his daily happenings are really his now more than mine. I find it hard to watch him grow away from me by gaining independence, but also proud of him for learning to be his own independent person. I treasure him and I look forward to watching him become a teenager over the next year!

This year on his birthday he didn't want a party, so we took him to Dundrum and spoiled him rotten instead!

After shopping we took the kids to TGI Friday! Here's Lauren delighted with herself with her new teddy bear sleeping mask!

Of course we had to mortify Dylan by singing him the ' Happy Birthday ' TGI Friday song! I think he secretly liked it!

With my special boy

I never knew I could love him more than I did on these two days below, when he was born and the day he met his baby sister, it would have been impossible to predict how much a mother's heart grows bigger every year.

I am so proud of my son, and everything that he has achieved this year and every year.

Happy Birthday to our amazing, talented son Dylan...... We love you more than you can ever know!

Official Game Photos!

We received the link today for the professional photos from the Cumann na Mbunscoil competition in Croke park. I am adding all the photos of Dylan, there is total photo overload!! But I am just so proud of him! I also just love the joy on his face when he gets his medal, we are still on a high following the big game! It's great to have the official game photographer copies of all of these amazing memories!

Well Done Dylan
