New Hairstyles

 Today Mommy and Lauren got new hairstyles, well Lauren's was just a wash and curl.... But mine was a little more drastic!! I cut a good few inches off my hair, and now I have a bob! I can't believe it. I went a bit mad, but my hair was in such bad condition I just had to go for it! It will take a little bit of getting used to!  But so far I'm loving the change!

Lauren's Eye check up

 Today Lauren had her second visit with the Orthoptist, everything was fantastic! She was able to read two lines down past normal with her glasses. She has taken to her glasses so well and will only need to wear them for reading and schoolwork, basically indoors is the rule. She was so good for the orthoptist and I was so proud of her!

 

 

The day of her appointment they wanted me to take them to the Ice-cream shop on the sea front, but it was so busy so I promised to bring them back the next day...... they were delighted to get their ice-cream, even if it was a day late, but they deserved it because they were so good!

 

 

So that is all the news from the orthoptist, we don't need to be back until October now for both Dylan and Lauren. 

 

 

Family fun day

 Today we had a church family fun day, we took the kids along. There was a huge slide and bouncy castle which they loved. We all had hot dogs and cupcakes! and the weather was absolutely amazing.

Today was a really nice family day, the parish really came together and we all had a great time! I think Mommy and Daddy may have had a cupcake too!

 

 

A Visit to Enniskerry Village

Today my mum and dad came to visit, and the weather was so beautiful we thought we would all take a walk in the little village of Enniskerry. There is such a lovely little feel in the village, and the most beautiful buildings!

It was lovley to see my parents today, and it was lovely to have the lovely weather!

 

Scooting at the Skatepark

 After school today I took the kids to their new favourite place! The skatepark, Dylan is getting really good on his scooter, he can do loads of stunts now. I do find it scary, but I've got to let him grow up and have fun!

 

    

 

I didn't think Lauren would love it as much as she did, I couldn't get her out of the park when it was time to go home. She really enjoyed herself.

 

 

 

I see a lot of trips here during the school holidays, I got to sit and enjoy the sun too though so that was really nice!

 

A spring Walk in Phoenix Park

Today we all went for a walk in the Phoenix Park, and afterwards we had afternoon tea and enjoyed the lovely weather!

 

 

Look at these beautiful tulips, I love that it is tulip time again as they are my most favourite flower to have in the house.... I don't know why but they make me smile, and put me in such a good mood.

Shiny New Look

I got a new blog design and I LOVE it, Lauren over at Teach Pray Love design is amazing. She is so patient and helpful. She has been tweaking things so kindly! I would highly recommend her! I even have space now for larger photos!

I won't drive myself mad by going back over every post and making the photos bigger! Even if it does play on my OCD mind! I will just happily enjoy the new space available! Even if nobody ever reads my blog but me, I don't care. It makes me smile from ear to ear to have a beautiful design, and space for the photos that I wish to treasure, and show my beautiful children when they grow up!
