Laurens ballet recital 2018

Today Lauren had her end of year ballet recital! It was called 'Lia Fail' in Irish or 'Stone of Destiny' in English.

The girls did a wonderful job, and we were all so proud of Lauren.

The best picture of Dylan I get these days! I don't feature Dylan as much, but will continue to blog all of his milestones! He is happy with that, but doesn't like to always have his picture taken and posted. I really respect that.

Jennie & Adriano's wedding

Today we celebrated the wedding of our special friends Jenni & Adriano. It was a beautiful wedding! Great food, great company, and so much laughter!

I just loved my dress for the wedding, I had my hat made to match and I was so happy with it!

What a lovely day it was! We never managed a photo with the bride and groom together, as our phones died not long agter this! It was a long day!

My new salon

So I'm delighted to celebrate the one year annivdfdsgu of my business by opening my own home salon! 

I had a cabin built so I can still retain the element of working from home's while still embracing my growing and expanding business.

I am so happy with mg new salon and skincare range' I can't wait to invite all of my wonderful clients into my new salon.

It's a great step forward!

Lauren's sports day 2018

We officially only have Lauren left for sports day as Dylan is now in senior cycle! It was a very special morning havimg Dylan there cheering Lauren on. We wete all so proud of her! She had spent the evening begore practicing her skipping gor her relsy race. They all did so well amd they came second

Visit to Brackley

This weekend Lauren and Mommy went to visit Emma in Brackley to have a girls weekend, while the boys went go karting and other bits. We had the best time, and as always it's so special to catch up with my best friend!

I was sad to go home, but we missed the boys! Cant wait to see Emma again in August!

Eye update 2018

Today we had our final ophthalmologist appointment, both Dylan and Lauren were discharged from the hospital. They will both just visit their regular optician going forward! The years go by so quickly really! 

Lauren will no longer need her glasses unless she develops some eye strain, as her lazy side has caught up to the other side, so this was great news!

Dylan needed a slightly stronger prescription, but as he's been so compliant with wearing his glasses he has more or less stabilised now and will wear them as he feels he needs them.

And that's it, after 6 years with Dr. Oshodi we are all done. She has seen them grow up and has given us great care. We will miss our yearly visits with her!

Easter Sunday 2018

Easter Sunday this year was a quieter affair! I was feeling a bit unwell with a virus hence there's no family photo this year!

After the hunt we went for dinner at my parents, it was a lovely day even though I was under the weather!
