Conor's Communion Brunch

This weekend we celebrated our nephew Conor's communion, we had the most beautiful weather! we all got together on the Sunday morning for brunch, and everything was fabulous!

It was a really lovely morning with my wonderful family, next weekend we will celebrate our nephew Adam's communion!

Weekend Fun

 This weekend was very busy and fun, now that we are back home in the country we get to explore all of the outdoor things that we missed living in the city!

 

On Saturday morning we went for a forest walk with Sophie, and Derek and Dylan went mountain biking on the trails (Dylan was actually wearing his helmet, we were finishing up when I took this photo)

Lauren had the most fun too!

 

 

 

 

On Sunday we went on a really long trek on the new Waterford Greenway, this was an old stretch of unused land that had fallen into disrepair. The council dug out the overgrown stretches and refinished the paths and tunnels, and now it is this really long and beautiful walk that stretches on for miles. The kids loved it, and I can see us spending a lot of time here over the summer, enjoying what our beautiful county has to offer!

 

 

 

 

 

It was well worth the visit, we had a really lovely weekend spending time together as a family. There are no nicer ways to spend the weekends! 

Easter Sunday 2017

What a wonderful Easter weekend we had!

We had dinner with my parents and m brother and we relaxed and had a lovely day, and of course ate lots of chocolate!

 

 

The Easter egg hunt is mostly just Lauren's thing now, Dylan has no interest in it anymore!

Lauren's visit to Lakadio Fairy garden

Today I took Lauren to the Lakadio Japanese gardens in Tramore, they have completed their fairy walk there and they had the grand opening! Lauren absolutely loved it! the little houses were adorable, and so much effort had been put into the little fairy doors. We had a lovely little afternoon together!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The gardens were absolutely beautiful, the work that went into everything was done with such love and care. I really love spending quality time with Lauren and do girlie days together!

Mother's Day 2017

Today was Mother's day and it was a    lovely day! I got lovely flowers and chocolates, and I was brought out to lunch with my lovely mom and the kids!

 I was given the most beautiful hand made cards, and I had a lovely lie in and a beautiful relaxed day!

 I am so lucky to call myself Mom to these two beautiful children, even though Dylan doesn't really like having photo taken as much these days! I couldn't be happier today and every single day!

St. Patrick Day 2017

St. Patrick's day this year was a much more relaxed affair than last year, we literally just sent to the parade and relaxed for the day! And I literally took two photos... and these are the photos! complete with Dylan hiding and avoiding the photos!

It was a fun day though spent with family so we couldn't really wish for more.
