This weekend we took the kids to Belfast to explore! we had an absolutely brilliant time! We were all only over the flu so we were tired out by the end of the weekend, but it was so much fun.
On the first day we visited Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge and walk. It is basically a famous bridge which crosses between two cliffs. It was an old fisherman's port, and the constructed the bridge there. Dylan and Lauren have wanted to visit here for ages, I didn't so much want to cross the bridge! But I did it anyway!

Then it was time for the rope bridge! eek!
Derek was first
Lauren was so great!! I really didn't think she would want to go on the bridge, but there was no problem at all with her!
Dylan loved it and wasn't even a bit phased!
I was absolutely terrified! does it show?
But I did it in the end!
Of course Daddy caught us on camera!
We did it!!
Then when we were finished out cliff walk, we drove out to the Giant's causeway. The weather was awful, it was so cold and the rain was sweeping down. The kids really loved it though and didn't care if it was raining!

Then it was off to check into our hotel and explore Belfast city, we were so exhausted, but it was a fabulous day. It was so beautiful and rugged!
