Christmas Eve 2015

It's Christmas Eve and we have two little people very excited for Christmas morning! I have to admit I'm getting very excited too! I can't wait to see their little faces when they see what Santa brought! It is time for our annual hot chocolate followed by our 'Night Before Christmas' story, then it is early to bed to wait for Santa to visit!

 

 

 

We are all in our new Pjs and are off to bed!

Ballet class

Today is the end of Lauren's first term or her grade 1 ballet class! she is amazing, I was blown away by her poise and her elegance. I was so proud of her, and it was a privilege to be able to watch her class. Lauren absolutely loves her ballet class, and she can't wait for next term!

Trip to Winterval festival 2015

This weekend we took the kids to my hometown to the Winterval Festival! It's a festival held there every year. There are craft stalls and little shops and food everywhere! There was a light show and lots to do, the kids loved it! We got to spend lovely quality time with my family which was great! It was a great weekend! Everyone is getting so excited for Christmas now!
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Christmas party time& our school fair

Today my best Sonjia and I took all the kids to her company Christmas party. They saw Santa, had their faces painted, and had balloon animals, goodies and a private screening of the 'Good Dinosaur'

 They all had an absolutely amazing time!

Had to add a photo log Lauren's face paint because it was hilarious! She was a wise elf! Classic!

It was such a great day which we finished off by going to the Christmas fair at our school. This year I was manning the raffle stand so I couldn't take any pictures, Derek never takes pictures!!

What a brilliant weekend!

 

Christmas panto 2015

Today we went to see 'Snow White' the panto! It was fantastic and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it..... As did I! We went to an earlier show this year, as it was the only one available! I have to say, the pantomime at the Gaeity is much superior to the one we saw at the Olympia last year, and we will definitely be going again next year!

 

 

 

Afterwards we took the kids out for dinner, and of course we followed this with ice-cream!

I absolutely love our familyChristmas traditions! Christmas 2015 is in full swing! 

 

Our Christmas Tree 2015

Today we officially kick off Christmas 2015! We put up our tree, and the kids did all the decorating themselves! I only put the ribbon on! And Derek and I put our baby Hope's Christmas decoration on our tree together that evening, we spared a moment to think how this would have been Hope's first Christmas.

 

The kids were delighted with how the free came out! And we never thought to take a family photo in front of the free!
