Kerry 2015

Last week we enjoyed the most amazing and special holiday in Co. Kerry. We enjoyed every minute of our time together relaxing and recharging! We stayed on the Dingle penninsula in a place called Ventry, it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.
I've decided to sort out holiday pictures onto the blog to remember everything, rather than one big long rambling post!

We stayed in a mobile home, the first day was overcast and rainy, these are the views from our mobile home.

On our first day we went for a walk in Dingle and went for ice-cream and the funfair

After dinner, we headed back into the funfair, I even went on a few rides! it was quite cold so we headed home before it got very cold out, but the kids had a really great time! Dylan won a minion and even gave it to Lauren! she was delighted

Day one was brilliant!

Random Ramblings of a lazy Mommy

This week Dylan had GAA camp, so Lauren and Mommy had some lazy days! we had such a lovely few days having Mommy and daughter time!

Here's Dylan all kitted out, and Mommy and Lauren having a movie morning in bed in our Jammies. There is also some photos from when we took the kids to see the old tram in the park.

So nothing only random news round these parts, oh and I had a fabulous cold complete with a big red nose!

Eye Consultant Visit 2015

Today we had Dylan and Lauren's eye consultant appointment, they were so delighted as they both didn't need to get the dilating drops that they both hate getting in their eyes! and they were both so good, and got great results from the consultant. The best news is she doesn't need to see them again for a whole year! There is very little change in Dylan's eyes and Lauren's have reamined the same. We were delighted with their results!

We are off on our Holidays this week so now we  can head off to get packing!

Lost tooth no 3!

Lauren lost her third loose tooth yesterday! and thankfully this one has been found and the tooth fairy has been again, and we have a very happy toothless princess here! and no 4 tooth is getting loose now, but it's hanging in for dear life!

Can't believe how fast she is growing up, and soon will have all her big teeth! so just a quick update to commit this moment to our memories!

Inside Out Movie Premiere

Sooo we never win anything, so it was a bit of a surprise when my cousin Sian phoned to tell us she had won a competiton in the TV guide to attend the 'Inside Out' premiere! To say we were excited was an understatment! we got speical seats, and there were photographers there to take our photos and there was a screening of a short film before!

The kids had an amazing time, and we really enjoyed the film!

Before the movie with took them out to have their dinner in Macdonalds, and then it was time for the movie!

Look how amazing all the seats looked! and I got a photo of the kids before the photographer did, I promise Dylan did have a good time! He just now officially hates having his photo taken!

We had yummy goodies and some quality time! It was a fantastic night, thanks to Auntie Sian for donating her gift to us.... I mean the kids!!

Fostering Love

We are fostering this little cutie called 'Rikki' for two weeks with us, he is on his way to his forever home and we are only delighted to watch him while he waits for his new owners. He is a lovely little guy, but he is crazy! he will be more suited to a quieter family home with adults as he is very nervous around the kids, he will feel safer with grown ups. For now though he is enjoying being loved and taken care of here with our family!

I think it is important to teach our children to help animals, and to be compassionate. I hope this experience will teach them some valuable lessons!

Accident and emergency

So unfortunately Lauren had her first accident and emergency visit this week, she managed to slice her ankle bone while she and Dylan were trying to fish their ball out of the bush. As soon as she hurt herself we took her to our local doctor who had a look, he sent us into the hospital to have the wound cleaned properly as we just weren't sure what was in there dirt wise, and we also wanted to make sure that her Tetanus injections were fully updated.

Dylan stayed with a friend and he was so worried about her that Lauren asked us to snap some photos to send him to show him that she was just fine. She was amazing, as soon as our Doctor explained that everything would be just fine then she calmed right down. As soon as the doctor had her all fixed up she commented on how brave and well behaved Lauren was! We were just happy that she was ok, with no permanent damage thankfully.

We were much happier when we had her home and cleaned up and showering her with love and kisses!

It didn't knock anything out of her, but I'm telling you Mum and Dad certainly weren't the better after it. I'm just so happy to put this little accident behind us now, and be so grateful and thankful that she is going to be just fine.
