A Visit to Enniskerry Village

Today my mum and dad came to visit, and the weather was so beautiful we thought we would all take a walk in the little village of Enniskerry. There is such a lovely little feel in the village, and the most beautiful buildings!

Scooting at the Skatepark

After school today I took the kids to their new favourite place! The skatepark, Dylan is getting really good on his scooter, he can do loads of stunts now. I do find it scary, but I've got to let him grow up and have fun!

I didn't think Lauren would love it as much as she did, I couldn't get her out of the park when it was time to go home. She really enjoyed herself.

I see a lot of trips here during the school holidays, I got to sit and enjoy the sun too though so that was really nice!

A spring Walk in Phoenix Park

Today we all went for a walk in the Phoenix Park, and afterwards we had afternoon tea and enjoyed the lovely weather!

Look at these beautiful tulips, I love that it is tulip time again as they are my most favourite flower to have in the house.... I don't know why but they make me smile, and put me in such a good mood.

The Kids loved scooting on the hills

Even more tulips!

Smiles with Mom... Sort of!

Look at this beautiful day, so happy spring has sprung this week, roll on the summer!

Shiny New Look

I got a new blog design and I LOVE it, Lauren over at Teach Pray Love design is amazing. She is so patient and helpful. She has been tweaking things so kindly! I would highly recommend her! I even have space now for larger photos!
I won't drive myself mad by going back over every post and making the photos bigger! Even if it does play on my OCD mind! I will just happily enjoy the new space available! Even if nobody ever reads my blog but me, I don't care. It makes me smile from ear to ear to have a beautiful design, and space for the photos that I wish to treasure, and show my beautiful children when they grow up!
Thanks so much Lauren, I can't wait to enjoy my new look!

The History of Waterford Museum with Nanna & Grandad

When we went home after Easter Sunday, the kids stayed on with my parents for a few days. They sent me this photo from their visit to the museum in Waterford! They loved it, and were telling me all about it when they phoned me. They are huge museum and history fans!

They had a brilliant time, my Dad sent me these photos

I missed them, but they had so much fun with Nanna & Grandad, my kids are so lucky to have two sets of amazing Grandparents. My parents brought them on all kinds of adventures during their visit. They won't be very happy to go back to school after the Easter holidays!

I was working on some new projects in my professional life, all will be revealed soon!

Easter Sunday 2015

So in our usual Easter tradition, we headed off to my parent's house for Easter. This year we went down on Easter Saturday, the Easter Bunny came to there house instead! We had a gorgeous dinner, and the weather is starting to get really springlike! I really enjoyed the day, and the company of course!

My two blessings

My little princess

My little prince... Not so little anymore...

Who is this grown up?

The 'guys'

Our family

My cousin Sian joined us this year, Sian is also my best friend in the world, so that was really nice having her here..... Dylan took the photos, so excuse the washing hanging out!
I could have edited that bit out, but don't see the point, I will look back and smile at the fact that Dylan was too small to avoid the washing!

Grandad & Lauren deep in conversation!

The cakes, look at these cakes! Sian brought the desserts, wow I could have eaten them all on my own, she made these especially because Lauren and Dylan requested these exact cakes, she is the best! This photo comes complete with Gary hiding from the camera!

This one was a Nutella cheesecake!

Derek & I in a post dinner 'selfie'

And of course, no Easter Sunday is complete without a picture of the obligatory eggs, and Lauren dressed as a bunny, she even had the ears on her hood.... so cute!

Grandad wanted to help 'find' the eggs... of course he didn't eat any!

 Hunting for eggs

Lucky kids, what a great Bunny! Ignore the real life in the background, linens hanging out and Christmas table settings, we were too busy having fun to notice those minor details!

For Lauren

For Dylan

At the end of the day it is time to sit down and have some laughs and cake with Grandad! you might notice a theme here, Lauren adores her Grandad, and is never far from his side. My poor Mom didn't seem to move from the kitchen, she insists of doing all the cooking, and won't let anyone help! She wouldn't be very happy if I posted a picture of her cooking though! Dylan spent the weekend attached to Uncle Gary, who played video games, I think Dylan was in heaven!

What a great weekend!
