A walk in Tibradden Woods

Today we went walking in Tibradden woods not too far of a drive from out home. The weather was amazing, it really felt like the spring day that it was. I have to say Tibradden is the most beautiful forest I have ever visited in Ireland. It is stunning, I felt so at peace while walking there. The kids loved it there too, there were the most beautiful views everywhere, we were spoiled for choice!

I hope we have many more visits here in the future!

Our school opening ceremony

We were present for an amazing day in our community, we took part in the opening ceremony of our new school. Our school started as a room in the local church and today we have more than 350 pupils!I was given the opportunity to sing, and we enjoyed every minute! Unfortunately I wasn't feeling great but we made it in the end!

I explained to the children how important this day was, and how they are so lucky to have been here at this time, to have been part if this day. The ceremony was full of great speeches and love, the teachers had made a brilliant montage of all the children singing and dancing to 'Happy' and a piece of artwork from every child in the school adorned the walls. It was a beautiful day.

I look forward to our children carrying on in this great school.

Lauren's 1st tooth fairy visit

Over the weekend Lauren lost her first and second toot. I say lost as we literally lost them as in can't find them! The first one we couldn't locate, and the second one we think she swallowed! She was a bit upset that her teeth are falling out, but when she realised the tooth fairy would be coming she cheered right up!

Tooth one

Tooth two

'Birthday girl swallowed her second tooth lost! That's two teeth 'lost''

This little one is growing up so fast! Another milestone met!

We love you Lauren

Castaway

Today Dylan got his cast off ( his latest cast ) His consultant was really happy with his progress, his arm has healed really well. We need to bring him back in two weeks and he may need some physio, but overall everything healed very well. He was very happy to get his cast off!

My brave boy

I think Dylan WILL NOT be jumping off anything again in a hurry! This boy has been tough on my mommy heart! He NEVER stops jumping around, playing sports, jumping off things and generally being a boy! I really do not want to see him getting hurt again.

Here's hoping he can keep his feet firmly on the ground from now on.....

We love you Dylan, we're glad you are back to yourself again!
