London 2014 Day 4

 

We arrived in London city centre the night before our final day, we met my little brother for dinner -  my brother and future sister-in-law live in London and we went for a lovely meal together and the kids did great! After dinner we explored the city a bit while it was a bit quieter than during the day.

Outside Westminster Abbey where all the royals have their weddings, the last big one being Will and Kate! It is truly beautiful....

The next morning we started our day with a beautiful breakfast! then it was time to explore London city in detail! it was so hot that day and we loved exploring, although we were all pretty exhausted by the time we got to the airport!

Then it was time to head home, we had the most amazing time, it was just so brilliant to be together for the week- I appreciated every minute together!

 

 

 I think they were tired after their long days and staying up later than usual!

 

 

  

Out trip to London 2014 Day 2&3

 

On the third and fourth day of our holiday we took the kids to Chessington theme park and zoo!  It was brilliant!  Lauren even went on the rides!  Dylan was big enough to get on the older kid
rides!  The first day we explored the theme park, and the second day we spent in the safari! Derek and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the kids have so much fun! It was great to have some time together as a family.
 

 

 

There was an opportunity to feed the exotic birds, Dylan LOVED this, he had the biggest smile on his face! Daddy even had a turn, Lauren was a bit more cautious!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then it was time for the beautiful carousel, with the twinkling lights and beautiful horses, Lauren LOVED this! I might have loved it too!

 

 

Dylan thought it was pretty fun too!

 

 

Lauren loved the carousel so much we had to go back the next day!

 

 

Then the girls went on the 'rollercoaster' and of course we had to take a 'selfie'

 

 

 

The next day was all about the safari! it was great and Lauren and Dylan thought it was amazing!

 

 

 

 

Then it was time to explore the aquarium

 

 

 

 

Then it is back to enjoy our beautiful safari themed hotel! It was so gorgeous and child friendly!
