Lauren's Princess Party

On Friday 22/2/14 we celebrated our precious princess's 5th birthday, before this year Lauren didn't have many of her own little friends, so this year when she started school we wanted to give her a very special birthday party!

She loved her third birthday princess party so much, that we decided to go with a princess themed party in a princess studio nearby. She had eight of her friends from school and she had so much fun. There is nothing as precious as your little princess laughing and having fun with her little princess pals!!

When they arrive they get to pick out a costume and then they got their hair and nails done! then they made some little bracelets and had a little dance party, then they had lunch and cakes! of course there was a chocolate fountain and some more costume changes! 

All the little princesses had great fun! Lauren was so exhausted she slept for an hour after her party!  Dylan was great too, he came to help us with the princesse, he was a great helper! He was so good and we were so proud of him! He helped me take photos too, and this post is complete photo overload!

On Sunday we had a little tea party for our cousins as we had some boy cousins and friends who wouldn't really have liked the whole princess theme! She had the most fun again and we all had a great time catching up with family and friends!

I also wanted to add her pretty party invitations for her friends... Adorable!

Which brings me to the moment when I realise that our baby is 5! She is still so perfect and loved and brings so much happiness into our lives, her brother adores her and they are best friends, and she has made our family complete...

Lauren's pre birthday bash

For the mid-term break this year I took the children down to my parents for a few days, my Mom and Dad wanted to host a little tea party for some of our friends kids in Waterford. My mum baked cupcakes and sponge cakes, she also picked up her usual Tinkerbell cake! We had balloons and goodies and Lauren had the most fun! And her big brother did too!

Lauren's  birthday is on Saturday and we are having a Princess party for her with her class mates, so she is all excited to have the best day! She will have her party at 'The Princess Parlour' where she will be treated like a Princess! 

Can't wait to spoil her rotten!

Throwback Thursday

Adventure Cove Fun

When we were down in Waterford we took the kids to Pirate's cove, the soft play and adventure zone! they really loved it! they played for ages and Dylan even played crazy golf and he went bowling!  they had a great time!

Trip to The Pirate Village

Last weekend we took the kids to the Pirate's Village in Blanchardstown. They had a great time, they jumped and bounced and had lots of fun... Dylan especially jumped and bounced and threw himself down the slides, luckily they were all inflatable, he definitely keeps my nerves on the edge of panic!

They really loved the trampoline where they harness you in and you can bounce up and down, Dylan was disgusted he wasn't allowed to do any flips! and Lauren was so tiny they had to bounce her as she couldn't quite reach!

Of course we needed to take the train! don't you love Dylan's ' yeah I'm too cool for this train, just here to mind the sister!'

I may have bounced on the giant trampoline!  it was great!

We all had a fun day here, we finished it off with dinner out!

Valentine's Day 2014

Happy Valentine’s Day from my funny Valentines! they fill every day with so much love!

I feel so incredibly lucky to have these beautiful children in my life, of course I am also lucky to have their Dad, my true love! I love that every year he buys me a dozen red roses! after almost 15 years and two children later he still makes my heart skip a beat!
